A Deep, Rich History of Branding Experience

Fred Golinko has over forty years experience in the areas of brand development, corporate and product identity, package design, name creation, graphic and exhibit design, and sales/marketing communications. Fred's strength is his creativity and his ability to work closely with clients, understand their business/marketing needs and translate into effective, impactful and memorable visual solutions. He is equally adept at managing complex projects as well as basic ones, synthesizing the various elements and organizing them into an integrated visual statement that resonates with the target audience.

Prior to open Golinko Design Inc., Fred directed the branding and visual communications design team at Design Continuum, Inc. in a wide range of programs for clients includng BASF, PictureTel, Genzyme, MapInfo, Samsung Electronics, Champion Automotive, Polaroid Corporation, and Stride Rite. As the Senior Project Director for Brand Equity International, he designed and managed over one hundred projects for clients such as, Wilson Sporting Goods, The Sheraton Corporation, AFFES, (The Army & Air Force Exchange Service), HP Hood, Liberty Financial, Eastman Kodak, General Cinema, and The Brigham & Women's Hospital.

In addition, Fred was Principal in Daedalus, Ltd. a joint venture design firm specializing in museum and exhibit design, and Senior Designer for Museum Planning, Inc., focusing on museum and exhibition master planning, graphic design and related services to museums and educational organizations.

His deep, rich and diverse design experience has provided him with the expertise required to deliver compelling solutions to a wide spectrum of communication needs for many business and service sectors including, technology, communications, retail, industrial, medical, health care, biotec, food, business, manufacturing, financial and education.

Fred's work has won more than forty National and International awards including a Gold CLIO for his packaging design, a Gold IDSA award for his environmental design and numerous others from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Communication Arts Magazine, the Art Directors Clubs of Boston, New York and New Jersey, the Type Directors Club of New York, DESI, Graphic Design USA and the Packaging Design Council, International. 

Fred completed his undergraduate work at Harvard College and attended the Pratt Institute of Design
